Ivo Ivanov is best known for his vast creative contributions to Glitchmachines, where he is the Founder & CEO. Aside from running Glitchmachines for over a decade, Ivo has worked as a sound designer with numerous creative audio companies including Ableton, Native Instruments, Tiptop Audio, SoundMorph, Twisted Tools, Inear Display, K-Devices and Signal Space.

Ivo earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Audio Engineering from the Expression College for Digital Arts in California. A highlight of his academic achievements was becoming the first ever recipient of the Game Audio Network Guild scholarship. He subsequently spent five years working with the SAE Institute of Technology in San Francisco, where he held several management positions including Campus Director, Director of Education and Head of the Audio Technology program. He later spent a year working as the Advanced Synthesis & Sound Design Instructor with Pyramind in San Francisco.

Ivo is also an accomplished audio engineer and electronic musician. He has released music on Detroit Underground Records, toured the U.S. with major-label bands and worked as an engineer and session musician in various commercial recording studios. He has custom built hand-painted circuit bent hardware instruments for artists like DIOYY, Richard Devine, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Trent Reznor, Otto Von Schirach, DJ Derrick Carter, Kero, Men Without Hats and many others.
