Valicha, a multimedia, visual and sound artist, is Peruvian raised in different parts of the world, from Romanian lands to Chile. She approaches the digital culture in Mexico City, a great capital of Latin American electronica, where she lived for twelve years. There, she received behind and on stage impressions that shaped her wide musical range. Back in Lima, Peru, she inserts herself into the city’s alternative culture by creating projects such as Arista, Festival de Vanguardias Electrónicas and Platónico, Estudio Multimedia, through which she actively participates in the local scene.

As a music producer she seeks in the deep and repetitive techno sounds the means to generate trance states, along with melodic environments that try to connect with spirit elevation layers. Her first LP -Invisible- mixes the different cultures that she feels hers, from the anonymous, neutral, collective techno sound, with field recordings and influences from Peruvian Andean music. The album was entirely created in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the beautiful region of Cusco, and you can hear hues of that region throughout the album, like people talking in Quechua and recordings of vernacular music, without losing the force of electronic exploration.

The concept of the video::

Fantasma de cristal was created through its melody. Its rhythmic and climatic origins cause an erratic journey through abstract visual dimensions in which desire and imagination merge.
In its universe, physic structures and characters are melted and incomplete, they lack movement and can only become alive through the images in their mind and their digital spaces.
