Lord Rao aka Mr Kill (strange u) aka Kashmere, is a veteran emcee and producer who delivers a uniquely focussed brand of hip hop music. With musical influences ranging from Dave Brubeck to MF Doom Rao’s work rate and collaborations over the years, (Ghost / Jehst / Verb T / Low Life Records / LG/ DJ IQ, DJ Jazz T, Dr Zygote….), alongside an intensely addictive live performance have made him quickly establish himself as one of the most charismatic and accomplished emcees yet to have emerged from the UK. His latest incarnation is one half of the duo known as Strange U, where he is known as Mr.Kill named after a cartoon childs busted toy. To date there have been three EP’s released on Eglo records, par excellence and strange u records respectively. Rao also advocates sky diving and the worshipping of war gods.
